Untitled (Vineyards and fields)

Wheater has painted an idyllic interpretation of a BC Okanagan landscape with a field of lavender in the background, a hayfield and the foreground with a vineyard ready to be harvested. The colours are light. Clouds in the sky emerge from an ultramarine sky. It's a picture of early autumn at midday. You can almost smell the freshness on the air.
